Increased Skill Damage

Most Runestones having varying effects on the Skills they are socketed into.  However, some Runestone Effects simply increase the damage of the Skill they are socketed into. If you like a particular Skill animation/effect increasing the damage of it will increase the Skill's power without changing the animation or effect.
